Vintage 1970s Yellow Rose Cooperative Warehouse T-Shirt from Austin Texas. Shirt is light yellow in color and features a beautiful graphic of a yellow rose and the name of the Co-Op.
The history behind this shirt is super cool. In the mid 70s, Co-ops like the Yellow Rose started popping up with a focus on working with local farmers to cut out food industry middlemen in order to bring fresh, organic food to the community. Although Yellow Rose only remained open until the early 80s, it helped pave the way for many other Co-ops and natural food stores that still exist today.
Shirt is in great vintage condition with one very tiny pinhole in the right armpit.
